
Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin is a young flute player and sean-nós singer from Dublin. He is studying Irish and Spanish in Trinity College Dublin. He comes from a musical family, his father Peadar is a well-known sean-nós singer from Conamara, and his mother Úna is a classical violinist. He performs frequently both as a solo performer and in groups, particularly with his sisters Saileog and Muireann. He was part of the band Ar an bPreab from Coláiste Eoin and Coláiste Íosagáin that won the Siansa Gael Linn competition in 2007.
